Parineeti Chopra might have remembered this age-old saying when her ex Maneesh Sharma (who is now directing Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan) landed up to pay a surprise visit to console her that 'even this will pass away'.
Buzz is, Parineeti has been putting up a very brave front of late at events if and when the media insists that she tells them if she is really happy with the way her career is shaping up. But the truth is that Priyanka Chopra's cousin is quite ruffled with her recent two back-to-back flops- Daawat-e-Ishq and Kill Dil.
There have also been whispers in the industry that Parineeti is being too repetitive with her histrionics.
SpotboyE.com has it that Maneesh took time off from his shoot and spent some time with Parineeti explaining her not to despair.
Maneesh directed the actress in her debut film Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and later in Shuddh Desi Romance. Both these films set the cash registers ringing.
We hope that his visit has cheered up Parineeti.
